Handmade Goods for Dashing Fellows & Dapper Dames
Shannon wanted to make high-quality grooming products that smelled of adventure, bravery, and old-fashioned hard work. Jeanne wanted an excuse to spend her free time in the workshop among her favorite power tools. A Mighty Fine Beast was born from this mutual love of building and making cool stuff. Our journey began with a few batches of soap, some scraps of wood, and a six-pack of beer; who knows where our journey will lead.
What we do know is that we are not alone in our never-ending quest to find well-made things: an expertly tailored button-up shirt, a locally hand-crafted IPA, a perfectly balanced hammer. A Mighty Fine Beast makes its grooming products in small batches by hand using high-quality natural ingredients. We package most of our goods in attractive containers—camping mugs, flasks, amber apothecary bottles—so that you can repurpose them and nothing gets wasted.
SHANNON
I do stuff
Shannon stirs and sniffs, mixes and measures. She does a ton of research. She designs the packages and labels, makes the website, and promotes like crazy. When she isn’t being a mighty fine entrepreneur, Shannon spends her time being a graphic designer, a photographer, a mom, and an analog drum machine beat-maker.
JEANNE
I build stuff
Jeanne loves to bang around in the workshop, measure (twice), cut (once), pound, sand, and stain. She has an enviable collection of woodworking clamps, and her favorite scent is sawdust. Jeanne names the products, writes the words, and crunches the numbers. When Jeanne isn’t building Mighty beer caddies or old-timey toolboxes, she teaches cool stuff to college students.
