How is my child's photo used?
Your child's photo is used solely to create their custom illustrated character. We permanently delete all photos within 7 days of order completion. Your child's privacy is sacred to us.
What kind of photo should I send and how do I confirm the Devanagari name?
Send one clear, front-facing photo with good lighting via Etsy Messages after placing your order. Avoid sunglasses or hats. For the Devanagari spelling, include it with your order if you know it. If not, just tell us the pronunciation and gender and we'll confirm with you before printing.
What age is this book for?
Our stories are written for ages 2–7, but they're enjoyed by a wider range. Babies and toddlers love the bright illustrations during read-aloud time. Kids aged 7–8 enjoy the mythology connection. If your child loves stories and you want them connected to their heritage, age is just a number.
Can I customize the dedication?
Yes! Include your dedication message when you order. For example, "With love from Nani and Nana, Diwali 2026." We'll add it to the dedication page.
What if my book arrives damaged or has an error?
Message us with a photo of the issue. If there's a printing defect or an error on our end, we'll reprint and reship at no charge.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Australia.
Is this book only for Hindu families?
While our stories feature characters from Indian culture and mythology, families of all backgrounds enjoy them. The stories teach universal values like courage, kindness, sharing, and the beauty of cultural heritage.
Can I return or exchange my book?
Since every book is custom-made with your child's name, likeness, and personal details, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges. However, if your book arrives with a printing defect, shipping damage, or any error on our end, just message us with a photo and we'll reprint and reship at no charge. We want every book to be perfect.
