Modern gemstone jewelry and thoughtful writing for everyday life.

I design and assemble each bracelet and necklace by hand in New York using natural stones chosen for their weight, texture, and quiet strength. I create in small batches and I release slowly.

Alongside the jewelry, I write about reinvention, boundaries, aging, identity, and building a life that actually fits. My books are available as digital downloads here in the shop.

Nothing is trend driven. I make pieces and pages meant to be lived in and returned to.

Modern Gemstone Jewelry and Writing Studio

AVILA brings together two parts of my work: jewelry design and writing.
I spent more than two decades building brands and collections in the fashion industry. Over time, I became less interested in trends and more interested in what people choose to keep. That question became the foundation of AVILA.

I design and assemble each piece by hand in New York City using natural gemstones and genuine Baltic amber. The jewelry is produced in small batches, with close attention to proportion, color, material, and wearability. Natural variation means no two pieces are exactly alike.

I also write about identity, decision-making, midlife, and the ways people revise their lives as circumstances change. The books and essays draw from lived experience and years of working with people, ideas, and brands.

Everything in this shop is created by me.

The jewelry is made to be worn often.
The writing is meant to be useful, recognizable, and worth returning to.
