Urban Apothecary and Truth Seeker
I first became interested in 'weeds as medicine' as a child, watching my grandmother create dandelion tea or poke berry salad, and teaching me about the herbs and plants in and around her garden. I found a new resurgence of the earth and her gifts when I started reading the labels on my childrens medicines and cleansers. And then I realized that ALMOST EVERYTHING I was putting on them and in them, contained petroleum, synthetics or poisons, and cost a ton! I began to make our own bath and body products, and then moved into tinctures teas and incense. It wasn't until I started getting a demand from friends that others were interested. I've always been an intuitive artist. Painting and creating with my soul. It just seems natural, as medicinal and cathartic as creating from the heart is, that creating for my heart, and body, would be as fulfilling! I love to heal, and coming from a pretty broken place I've gathered the tools to not only heal myself, but to heal and teach others. I want to help heal as many as I can so that they too can forth and help others.
