AXA handcrafted began as a way for two friends to make household items for their friends and family. With a little push, we've extended our family out to our customers. Our goal is to make functional products while bringing out and amplifying the natural beauty found in wood.

Returns and exchanges
We want every part of your experience with us to be awesome. If you have any concerns with an item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the item to discuss a return or exchange. 

Most of the wood we use in our pieces is reclaimed and will have nail holes, stains, weathering splits, and markings. We've intentionally kept many of these charming aspects in the pieces as we feel it adds character and shares the story of the life of the wood. If you would like specific photos of any of the items, please message us so we can get that to you before your purchase. 

When returning or exchanging items, please note that shipping charges are not refundable and return shipping charges are also the responsibility of the customer unless an obvious mistake was made on our part. Once the item has been received back in its original condition, your refund or exchange will be processed. Items returned not in the condition sent, may only receive a partial refund or no refund at all depending on extent of damage. 

Custom order designs will be finalized before purchasing. Refunds will not be issued for custom orders past the end of the next business day after the order was placed as work will have already begun on the item.
We accept PayPal and credit cards through Etsy's Direct Checkout system.

For custom orders, we begin work on a custom piece after payment is received. Even if a date is discussed for delivery, keep in mind dates are approximate. We will do our best to meet the your request, and will keep in constant contact if that date is no longer viable until you receive your product.
We ship to the address you provide to Etsy during the checkout process.

Reshipping returned items deemed undeliverable by the US Postal System or incorrect address provided at checkout are the responsibility of the customer.

Unless otherwise noted, orders will be shipped as soon as possible. Custom order shipping times will vary. We will contact you through Etsy with an update message when your product has shipped.

We ship using USPS, UPS, Greyhound, and FedEx services. We are also open to customer requests for carriers.

You will receive a shipment notification to the email address you have connected to your Etsy account. Please make sure your email address is current.

Items are packaged to ensure safe arrival. We want you to receive your product in the condition it was sent. If you feel the product has been damaged in any way, please take photographs of the box and the piece highlighting any damage that may have been caused in transit. This will help us in retrieving a refund from the shipping company.
Additional policies and FAQs
International buyers should message us so we can work out shipping costs and country regulations to ensure that you get the product as intended. Any duty, incidental, or any fees not listed that arise from shipping internationally are the responsibility of the customer. Feel free to message us about quotes to your country.
