A Passion for Vintage

Hello there! My name is Abbi and I guess I have always loved vintage. It all started with a trip to the thrift store. One day I found a vintage 1950's dress at the thrift store and tried it on over my clothes. I was surprised to find that it fit me well, and not only that, it was extremely flattering. After that I was pretty much insatiable. I decided to start selling when I realized that a lot of the stuff I was buying didn't fit me; I was just buying it because I loved the look. It also didn't hurt that my sister, Heidi had a vintage shop and could show me the ropes. It's great having someone who shares the same passions and style as you help you out. Now we go shopping together and share our tribulations and jubilation's. I have recently graduated from Ohio State's fashion and retail studies program. I love Etsy! It's a great community and makes the world seem like a much smaller place. I love spreading little pieces of material joy across the country, and across the world. Maybe I'm not changing the world, but I'd like to think that I'm making it better dressed. Hope you find a piece of history to love and wear!

Pieces from my shop have made their way to shows like Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Godfather of Harlem, and Pose. I have also sold pieces to countless theatre companies around the world!

While I love seeing these pieces off to such fantastic places, my greatest joy comes from seeing a piece in my shop on regular people and become part of their wardrobe rotation! I adore customer photos, and always post when I can in my Instagram feed.
