Is VAT (or other Tax) included in the price?
VAT, GST, and any other Tax is NOT included in the price. International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and handling fees, charged when a shipment reaches the buyer's country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the buyer; I have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. How do you ship?
Shipping is by USPS. On heavy items or multiple item orders, I may ship FedEx instead of USPS at my discretion.
Where are your items made?
My items are individually printed in the US. Many are also sewn in the US, but some are printed on already sewn imported material.
How are your items made?
My art is printed using dye-sublimation. The images are initially printed on coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press. Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image. The images are permanent and do not peel or fade.
How many curtain panels do I need?
Gathered curtains generally look best when their finished width is 2 to 2.5 times the length of the rod, though a couple of inches one way or another is not critical. In the listing image, I show them only slightly gathered in order to accurately show the art, and this can work as well.
Sheer curtains can look good with a little extra fullness so figure 2 to 3 times the length of the rod.
