The chain is just great it's strong .I bought the 22 inch so it could just go over my head. I love this little fish so much I make sure I take it off for the shower ...I take it off and clean it ...and take it off so I don't bring it in the pool. the gold color is perfect. It was wrapped so beautifully. Thank you so much for being so talented and creative. Renée
