Who I am
When I was a little girl, I had a dream to become an architect. I graduated from university with two master’s degree in architecture and environmental design. I opened my design firm and started to teach at university as a faculty but every day after teaching I was not done with design world. My mind was keep thinking about mixing colors and forms to create new pieces. I found my passion in combining materials and build new pieces to emphasize my feeling.

I started to work with building materials and fabrics such as concrete, glass, wood and leather and mix them with textile and fashion to create unique jewelry pieces. My knowledge in architecture specially art and architecture history and my Persian background helped me to unleash my imagination and gave me a tool to explore.

"combining materials" is also my personal story of being an Eastern girl who came to live in a Western world. My main medium is drawing and design, but I always like to explore new materials.

My Adrissa Design collection includes pendant, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and ceramic pieces which feature images of Persian tiles and art pieces. I also draw most of my original works and design my OWN work. This beautiful pieces are one of a kind and belong to my name and collection.

To Sketch and create my jewelry, I use different materials since I love to explore new things and techniques. Some examples are acrylic paint, guash paint, glitter papers, granule chipped, tiles, crushed glass, wood pieces, concrete, brass, Silver, Steel and fabrics. My jewelry is finished with a seductive "liquid glass" (epoxy resin) which I also use to varnish my art pieces.
