I have always loved creating things. Most of my friends and family have received handmade gifts for birthdays and Christmas throughout the years. I have always been a creator, a doodler, a tinkerer - my hands and my mind always need to be working on a project. But for me, the joy in creating is seeing other people enjoy the finished products.
When we got married, my now-husband and I were intimidated by the wedding industry. Planning was extremely stressful and overwhelming. Stationery was incredibly expensive and we couldn’t find anything we loved until we came across some editable templates on Etsy. They were beautiful and so much more personal than some of the big name brands - and customizable! We felt like they really represented us and the feel of our wedding. We got so many compliments on our save the date that we did this for invitations and thank you cards as well. We were elated with how well they came out and how much money we saved. This is when Affirmations Designs was born.
I truly cannot believe where my shop is today. What started as a small project has become a business! I am so happy to say that all templates are now completely customizable and easy to use (I promise)! They require no programs or fonts to install and anyone can make something that is personal to them.
I love what I do. I love being a part of someone's happy life event even in the smallest way. Everything in my shop is personal to me because I created each design myself. And when you reach out, you are talking to me, the heart and soul of the business.
