The Peony Dress pattern is exactly what I've been waiting for! It is such a well drafted, professional pattern, with accurate and carefully thought out markings - that align beautifully. The instructions are fantastic, with lots of helpful hints (and there is even an accompanying YouTube video - in case you need it). This is also the first time (in my experience) that a print at home/tiled pattern came together so perfectly, and accurately. KM, the pattern maker, has also been so lovely and helpful (in my correspondence with her). Everything about this has been a wonderful experience, and the dress has been a joy to sew. I am looking forward to actually wearing a toile for once (without any adjustments), and will be sewing many more Peony Dresses in the future. If you only buy one dress pattern this year - this is it!

I really love this dress. As some other reviewers mentioned, it does run a little big, and the instructions are somewhat vague around the strap and bodice construction. Even so, it turned out beautifully, and I’ll definitely be making it again.

I had to print this at home since none of the print centers suggested were helpful. Getting the pattern put together was not hard, just tedious. The you tube video was a HUGE help....

Easy to follow! Video was helpful! Made minor adjustments like shortening the straps and length of the dress.

Very clear and detailed instructions. Great for adventurous beginners! I don't have a serger so I recommend french seaming the pockets and side seams for those like me! I managed to french seam the waistband as well but it was tricky. Very happy with the results!

Love this pattern! Super cute & easy to do, instructions are really detailed and comes with pictures (and there is also a video) I did have to redo the dress as like others have said the sizes were coming out too big, but I’m here to say that’s NOT a pattern or product issue!!! Make sure to measure the square, as for me it was coming out wrong when printing from my phone and I had to scale it on my computer to get the correct size printed, that’s the issue, not the pattern! My skirt portion is a little different as I was upcycling from a thrifted dress, but all the bodice portion is from the pattern, i will absolutely be using this again!

Love this dress, after making singer adjustments to the bust ( made the darts 1cm bigger on each side, and added an inch to the bottom of the bust and the elastic band section) it was super easy to make. Next time I make this dress I will size down on the skirt, do there are less gathers at the back of the dress, but overall I really like it!

Straightforward t-shirt dress with added skirt flair. If you have broader shoulders do NOT size down. I did my usual size and wished I had sized up due to the drop shoulder line hitting at an awkward part of my shoulder. Results in the shoulder seam jutting out, and making my shoulders look even more broad! Not what I would have wanted. I usually love drop shoulders because my broader shoulders support them to drape my frame, but this design doesn’t drop enough for broader shoulders.
