Turning an Idea into a Product
About a year ago, I discovered 3D printing and how limitless it is, so I started learning how to use Fusion 360. Fusion 360 is a 3D design program that allows the user to make sketches and ultimately 3D objects. I am self-taught (with the help of some YouTube tutorials), and up until the summer I mostly designed for myself. I love to design jewelry (especially earrings and necklaces) as well as little trinkets such as key chains, but what I love the most is getting to design custom products based on the ideas of others. I recently started offering design services to those who are interested, and I've gotten to make a variety of interesting products including a free-diving nose clip, a golf tee with a hinge, and a customized chess piece. There are no limits to what you can do with 3D printing! I opened up this shop on Etsy so that shoppers everywhere can discover a new way to get their ideas to come to life. With 3D printing, gift giving can become so much more personalized - I can even engrave your own handwriting into a piece of jewelry, creating a completely unique gift for a loved one.
