5 out of 5 starsI purchased a ring from Alex Malex Designs - it looks great, it's unique, and the quality is nice. The shipment was a little slow (arrived 4 weeks after purchase), but I'm an otherwise happy customer.

Alex Malex Designs
What?
I create one of a kind and limited numbers silver jewelry.
How?
Every piece of jewelry in my shop is made by hand, I use traditional techniques, but I also like experimenting with new ideas.
Where?
I work in a small studio in Sofia, Bulgaria.
When?
In 2010 a friend of mine introduced me to jewelry making by teaching me some basic techniques like beading, knotting, etc. After a long break from this activity in the end of 2013 I took steps into working with metal. Soon afterwards I realized that riveting, hammering and etching wasn't enough for me and in the summer of 2014 I was shown how to solder silver. Since then I spent almost every day by my working bench designing and creating jewelry, as well as learning new techniques.
Inspiration?
History, artifacts, mythology, arts, geometry.
Take a look at a short video on Vimeo about the way I work and the jewelry I create https://vimeo.com/153517661 The credit for the video goes to Mincho Kavaldzhiev.
