I create a collection of unique and beautiful one of a kind and limited series pins, earrings and necklaces in porcelain and stoneware. My pieces are hand formed and I use a combination of under glazes and over glazes with a final application of 14K gold details. Most pieces are fired three or four times in the kiln.
Many of my pieces are miniature sculptures of flowers or leaves touched with a golden dewdrop, or impressions of flowers, shells, leaves and other subjects from nature shimmering with iridescence, gold highlights and layers of color.
Other pieces have a warm comforting retro look reminiscent of decades gone by, like a treasure from grandma’s jewel box. A whimsical humor is reflected in Prince Charming frogs, fanciful fish, bunnies hiding in the flowers or the expression on the face of a cat or a snowman.
They are elegant little sculptures with a sense of humor that are fun to wear.
