I have been selling online for 22 years now, 16 on Etsy! I grew up in rural WV and felt a close connection to my country home and land. We bought our own farm about 20 years ago and I discovered huge rows of wild growing catnip along the fence - so first began making my own cat toys and selling them. Our own pets are typically adopted old, abused or neglected but with the sweetest hearts and we support our local humane societies.
Having been educated as a Veterinary Technician / and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, I became federally certified to handle and rehab migratory birds. Becoming an avid bird watcher, my journey evolved to making my own nutritious and fun bird seed feeders. My 3 children have grown up immersed in nature and bird watching too.
I love old quilts and textiles and began reworking and upcycling quilts and bedspreads that some people might throw away. I like to honor the fine hand work that was put into these lovely quilts by giving them just one more breath of life by turning them back into something useful. Thanks to all my old and new customers for allowing me to support my passion!
