I don't feel qualified to review this pattern; all I needed from it was direction on how to turn a cabled corner. That I got, and clearly. I am quite pleased with this pattern, though, and recommend it to knitters who've been looking for a popular but unavailable continuous cable border pattern.

Wylde & Plumb is all about beauty, fun, relationships & integrity.

In the beginning Wylde & Plumb's product line consisted entirely of handmade and offbeat greeting cards. We started with a Facebook page and called ourselves "A Bit Peculiar Designs" because, well, our artistic ethic has always been a bit peculiar.

But soon we discovered that our love of knitting and crochet might lend itself to writing and selling patterns. The very first pattern we listed was the Nadia Poncho. Then we did the Laurie Lotus Scarf. And our flying fingers, needles, and hooks kept churning out new yarn delights. We changed our name to MK Designs and started a newsletter.

After a couple of years of building up our shop with cards and patterns, we added some other new products like Magnetic Bookmarks and some other paper specialties. We also discovered that "MK Designs" was not a unique business name. When we opened our Etsy store we found out someone else already had an "MKDesigns" store.

So, we undertook a big re-branding effort in 2019, and landed on "Wylde & Plumb". Wylde references the Old English "wilde" which means "in the natural state, uncultivated, untamed, undomesticated, uncontrolled." Plumb describes the state of being straight and true.
