Our Beginnings
At the age of 20, Allen Gléur started on the path of what would ultimately become a lifetime in jewelry. Originally a certified diamond cutter and grader, he eventually ventured into design, putting to use his lifelong passion for art and history, as well as the tutelage he had received from his Grandfather.
Allen Gléur drew inspiration from classical french design,as well as historic time periods in jewelry making. Influences of Art Deco and Art Nouveau are strongly felt through his unique timeless designs.
Upon the release of his first set of designs there was an immediate positive response from those in the industry, as well as a clamouring for more designs. Allen Gléur had found his calling; designing and handcrafting unique works of art that would be sold to some of the world's most prestigious of jewelry sellers.
This endeavor represents a desire by Allen Gléur to pursue something he cares very deeply about, a personal desire to create socially/globally conscious jewelry, designing and hand manufacturing high quality heirloom pieces of jewelry that are sourced exclusively from conflict free, fairly traded, ethical sources. This transition from wholesale to retail, creates a new mutually beneficial arrangement, allowing Allen to pursue new ventures, while creating unprecedented direct access to Allen Gléur and his timeless designs.
