Aloha! I’m Michelle, the heart behind Aloha By Shell.

I’m happiest with sand between my toes, watching a Hawaiian sunset, traveling somewhere new with my husband, snuggling my two tiny chihuahuas, or creating jewelry that reminds someone of a special moment in Hawaiʻi.

Aloha By Shell began as a creative outlet and quickly became my greatest passion. Every piece is thoughtfully handmade by me using quality materials inspired by the beauty, colors, and spirit of the islands. My greatest joy is sharing a little piece of Hawaiʻi with others—whether you’re lucky enough to call these islands home or you’re taking a piece of paradise back with you after an unforgettable visit. I hope that every design brings back memories of salty air, warm sunshine, and the aloha spirit that makes Hawaiʻi so special.

When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me supporting other local businesses, wandering through farmers markets, enjoying an iced coffee, or soaking in another incredible Big Island sunset. Those little moments are what inspire me most—and they often become the next piece in my collection.

I believe life is made up of simple moments: watching the sun melt into the ocean, laughing with the people you love, snuggling your pups after a long day, and appreciating the beauty all around you.
