Collecting
My earliest memories are of my Grandfather attaching a magnet to my Radio Flyer wagon. I would then drag it behind collecting old nuts, bolts, bent nails, and other odd metal pieces. I would then take my collection and make furniture for the bugs. I remember even then the older the piece regardless to its rust and age the more I adored it. I have always felt a need to collect and create.
I am however not a hoarder. I feel the need to find things there proper home. I feel I am lucky to have found something I know to be some ones special treasure and feel the need to protect it until I find that someone. It is also important to me to recycle. We have this earth to protect and pass on to our little ones. What better way to recycle than to use what we already have.
I am a hopeless romantic and find the stories and history behind these special pieces so irresistible. From big to small all vintage pieces have a story.
I have always wanted a little shop, with real doors that I could greet you at. However currently that is not possible. So here I have found the next best thing. My on little shops for collecting and creating. I thank You all for making that possible. I love these little shops more than I ever knew possible.
