5 out of 5 starsI'm so thrilled that Altadena Maid is back! I've used the Monarch munch before - purchased over 10 years ago at a festival and the milkweed has grown back every single year since in the same planter box.

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! It's great to be back after what's been a horrible year for so many from Altadena. And, thanks for planting milkweed to support Monarchs! Their low numbers are of special concern in the western US, and they need all the milkweed and wildflowers we can provide them! Thanks again, and all the very best - René

5 out of 5 starsWonderful products! Great communication. Arrived on time. Was a gift for family and they loved it! I will continue to order from here! Saving the planet one seed ball at a time! Thank you!!!!

Hi N - thank you so very much for your review! The Eaton fire took everything from many in Altadena, myself included. I hope to be able to rebuild and to restart all of my activities, including AltadenaMaid, as soon as possible. It’s all truly devastating, but as the 8-foot-tall, 50-foot-long banner I dreamed of, had created, and then installed with friends reminds the community and the world, we are Altadena Strong, and We *Will* Rebuild! Thanks again, René

Thank you so very much for your 5-star review - I *really* appreciate it! And, enjoy supporting plenty of pollinators with your new wildflowers! 5 out of 5 starsWould buy again, came as described
René responded on Dec 4, 2024
Hi David - Thanks so much for your 5-star review! This is the best time of the year to get your milkweed mix out and about, letting the Winter rains do the hard work of watering. Milkweed typically comes up in the late Spring, as the Monarchs return. Thanks again, and enjoy! René

5 out of 5 starsMy wildflower bark came quickly and has clear instructions. I can't wait to spread them :)
René responded on Nov 28, 2024
Hi Alisa - Thanks so bery much for your 5-star review, and, actually, right now (late November) is the best time of the year to get your seedbark crumbled and sprinkled out! Letting the Winter rains do the "hard" part of watering them and getting them started makes it super easy to get 'em up and growing! Once the rains end, they only need to be watered once each couple of weeks to keep the blooms coming year 'round. Enjoy, and again, many thanks! All the best - René

5 out of 5 starsI haven’t planted yet but I’m sure they will grow
René responded on Nov 24, 2024
Hi Julie - Thanks so much for your 5-star review. It means a lot to me! Right now is a great time to crumble up your seed bark and sprinkle it out over as large an area as possible, and let the winter rains do the initial watering that’s so important for success. Once the rains end in the Spring, plan on watering once each couple of weeks to keep the wildflower blooms coming throughout the year. Thanks again, and enjoy! René

5 out of 5 starsIt's obvious that selling wildflower seeds is a labor of love for this seller. He quickly answered all my questions beforehand, and the seed bark arrived quickly with lots of information about how to plant and grow. I know he'll be available to answer any future questions. I can't wait for my wildflowers to bloom in the spring!

Hi Karen - Thank you so *very* much for your 5-star review, and you're right, this really is a "passion project" for me! Getting folks to dip their toes into growing wildflowers to see just how easy to grow, and how beautiful they are, seems like a good first step towards developing a stronger sense of the need to protect our environment among folks in general. Enjoy your new wildflowers, and thanks again!

5 out of 5 starsThank you for offering this product and your advice
René responded on Aug 3, 2024
Hi Cathy - Thank *you* for your 5-star review, and for your concern about our environment! I'm passionate about trying to keep our environment sustainable, and I truly want folks to see how easy it can be to grow native plants. Milkweeds can be a bit "uncooperative" to get growing, but they are essential for Monarch butterflies. Thanks again, and enjoy! All the very best, René

René responded on Jun 16, 2024
Thank you, Carolyn, for your 5-star review! I do try really hard to provide the sort of customer service that I would want to receive -- the "old-fashioned" kind, where folks really care. Thanks for your support, thanks for your purchase, and enjoy your new wildflowers! All the very best, René
