My God, this makes putting so much ink in the converter easier now. Don’t have to struggle now getting the ink up into the converter.

The Dorsal Fountain Pen is a wonderful pen! As tall as an Opus 88 Omar and wider. It's by no means heavy, but it is much more substantial than I thought it would be, given it's 3D-printed. The design is elegant, and I've had it for about a day now and there were no nib-drying issues overnight. Highly recommended!

For those of us not able to afford a Nakaya Dorsal Fin 2 fountain pen, here is the compromise! I am very pleased with my purchase of a 3D printed replica. It is more weighty than I expected so it feels substantial in my hands. I upgraded the nib choice and happy with the result. So I highly recommend this replica to enjoy and hope someday to afford the real thing. My only wish was I hoped to be able to eye-drop but not so. But that doesn't diminish my recommendation. Don't let that stop you...it didn't me.

Great pen and good service.

This is subjective but very rarely do I hold a pen that sits so perfectly in my hand that it almost disappears and there is nothing between my thoughts and the page. There are pens that feel nice in the hand, but very rarely do they fit this well. The balance is perfect. Perfect. The #8 nib suits me, it allows me to grip a pen in the optimal spot on the section. This pen also suits the larger nib aesthetically. The design elements of the barrel make it interesting but still understated (uncapped). It is a more expensive pen, but I am glad I decided to take the plunge. A gushing review? Yes, but deservedly so. It may not suit every hand as well as mine, but if you like a larger pen, the balance and the weight make it a comfortable writer.

Excellent service as always. The resin used with this pen is very nice. A medium dark blue with the same texture as the black. It feels good in the hand and has excellent grip around the section. I've reviewed the pen model before, it continues to be a great design. Recommended.

Really unique pen and writes fantastic
