Entonces, aquí está mi historia: estoy felizmente casada con mi esposo de 15 años y soy madre de perros, tengo 4. Los perros hacen que mi mundo "gire", simplemente no me sentiría completa sin ellos. ¿Muy malcriada? ¿Por qué, absolutamente, no puedo pensar en otra manera? También tengo una carrera de tiempo completo, como artista, mis tiendas de Etsy son mi divertido ajetreo secundario. Entonces, en el pasado, me enteré de Etsy y me uní de inmediato. Es un gran foro para artistas independientes como yo. He sido artista en Etsy desde 2010, cuando era una comunidad de artesanos que principalmente era un mercado de arte hecho a mano y coleccionables vintage. Comencé con solo unas pocas cosas en mi tienda. Pasé todo mi tiempo libre y energía en crear. Me encanta establecer contactos con otras personas y he hecho muchos amigos en Etsy en el camino, hay algunos propietarios de tiendas / artistas sólidos aquí, también soy una ávida compradora en Etsy. Etsy es un prado verde para mí, ya que sigo añadiendo cosas nuevas a mi tienda, casi a diario. Me gusta mantenerlo nuevo y emocionante siempre... Como puedes ver, no creo en lo mundano o simplemente promedio, francamente me asusta. Creo lo que más me inspira, piezas que invitan a la reflexión y que transmiten un mensaje y un concepto. Mis obras de arte me hablan en algún nivel mientras las creo pieza por pieza, todas mis piezas tienen nombre para agregar un toque personal a cada pieza. Como artista, tiendo a no ser tímido o tener miedo de probar los límites. Mi trabajo tiene algo de provocación a la reflexión, rareza, fantasía, conceptos controvertidos o verdad detrás de ellos. Escribo casi todas mis descripciones/biografías/nombres para cada pieza, a menos que, por supuesto, me quede sin fuerzas, ya sabes, un poco de bloqueo de escritor, lo cual es raro. Tengo una base de clientes muy amplia y leal que me hace sonreír. Mi trabajo atrae a todo tipo de compradores, a veces mi arte les habla y parece transmitir su propio mensaje, a veces mensajes que no pueden poner en palabras... Mi trabajo es ecléctico en muchos sentidos, algunos pueden referirse a mi oficio como raro, caprichoso, atrevido o incluso gótico, lo cual me parece bien, ya que responderé a todos esos títulos, debo admitir que ¡me gusta más "raro"! Para mí, que me llamen "raro" es un cumplido total, significa que yo o mi obra de arte despertamos algo en el ojo del espectador, y eso me encanta. Honestamente, me encuentro con mi oficio, mi difunto abuelo fue reclutado directamente de la escuela de arte para convertirse en uno de los primeros dibujantes originales de la Oficina Federal de Investigaciones. Mi difunta madre también era artista, trabajaba con yeso y arcilla y creaba todo tipo de muñecas, además de ser una pintora fabulosa con un buen ojo para la simetría y la composición.
Recuerde que el arte está destinado a evocar emociones.

So, here's my story : I am happily married to my husband of 15. years , and am a mother of dogs , I have 4 . Dogs make my world " go round" I just wouldn't feel whole without them. Spoiled Much ? why, absolutely , I can think of no other way . I also have a full time career , As an artist my Etsy shops are my fun side hustle. So, back in the day, I learned about Etsy and immediately joined. It is a great forum for independent artists like me. I have been an artist on Etsy since 2010, back when it was an artisan community that mostly was a market place for handmade art and vintage collectibles . I started with only a few things in my shop. I spent all of my spare time and energy on creating . I love to network with others and have made lots of Etsy friends along the way, there are some solid shops owners/ artists here, I am also an avid buyer on Etsy . Etsy is a green pasture for me as I continue to add new things to my shop , almost daily. I like to keep it new and exciting always.. As you can see, I don't believe in the mundane or just average , quite frankly it frightens me . I create what inspires me most, pieces that are thought provoking that conveys a message and concept . My pieces of art speak to me on some level as I create them piece by piece , my pieces are all named to add a personal flare to each piece. As an artist, I tend to not be timid or afraid to test boundaries . My work have some thought provoking, weirdness, fantasy, controversial concepts or truth behind them . I write almost all of my descriptions/ bios/ names for each piece, unless of course I run out of steam, you know a bit of writer's block , which is rare. I have a very broad and loyal customer base which makes me smile. My work appeals to all different types of buyers, sometimes my art speaks to them and it seems to convey their own message, sometimes messages that they can't put into words .. My work is eclectic in so many ways, some may refer to my craft as weird , whimsical , racy or even gothic which fine with me, as I will answer to all of those titles, I must admit, I like "weird " the best !! to me, being called "weird' is a total compliment to me, it means I or my artwork stirred something within the eye of the beholder, and I love that. I do come upon my craft honestly , my late grandfather was drafted directly from art school to become one of the first original sketch artists for the Federal Bureau Of Investigation. My late mother was also an artist , she worked with plaster and clay and created all sorts of dolls as well as a fabulous painter with a keen eye for symmetry and composition .
