Welcome to Always Stitches!
When I opened Always Stitches in 2015, I was making and selling crocheted baby afghans and other handmade crochet pieces. But crochet was never my only creative love. I have always enjoyed trying something new—sewing, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, weaving, beading, and pretty much anything else that catches my attention.
That’s how the name Always Stitches came to be. There always seems to be a needle, thread, or a new project in my hands!
Over the years, my shop has changed and grown right along with my interests. I’ve made baby items, quilted pieces, cross stitch creations, and heating pads, which eventually became one of my shop’s best-selling items.
Now I’m bringing Always Stitches back to the kind of shop I originally imagined—a place where you never quite know what you might find.
I’m gradually expanding beyond heating pads and adding more of the things I love to make, including quilted potholders, coasters, baked potato bags, and new embroidered and freestanding lace creations. There are always more ideas waiting in my craft room, and I’m excited to see where they take me next.
Some things I make are practical. Some are seasonal. Some are simply made because they are beautiful and fun to stitch. But every piece has one thing in common:
It is handmade by me, one stitch at a time.
