We are a small family business of 3; Tee, Victor & Eila 🫶🏽🥰
Our journey began in November 2022 when we first made our core product, the silky satin bonnets, created out of necessity when we found that soon after birth our daughter, Eila’s hair was constantly dry and soon began to thin out at the back.
Searching for a solution, we soon discovered that satin bonnets were the answer! baby balding & toddler tangles is caused by the friction of cotton fabrics rubbing against baby’s delicate hair. It was important for us to design a bonnet specific to the little ones which is safe for sleep while allowing proper hair protection.
After much research and testing we created a formula, a range of kids bonnet sizes which actually stays on the little ones head at night and is comfortable to wear, which is why here at Amady, we DO NOT believe one size fit all!
Baby Eila loved wearing it, we created more for friends and family, created our website and social media account and within weeks of embarking on this journey we had made and sold 100 kids bonnets. This birthed our business.
We have since expanded to other range of silk and satin products and are proud to have so far been a blessing to 1000+ households 🤍
