Amana Design, a step of Faith
I grew up a small town country girl. My high school days were spent milking cows and driving tractors. However, in between chores, I always found time to create things whether it was beaded bracelets, pressed flower cards, candles, or handmade soap. I would always try to sell what I made to friends and family, or at local library craft shows. I never dreamed I would find myself in the world of design someday, but looking back I see how it was my passion all along.
My Aunt Ani gifted me a sewing machine on my wedding day and that is the machine I am using to this day. I absolutely love finding beautiful fabrics and making them personal for each of my customers as they decorate their homes, welcome new little ones and accessorize for family photos. It's my dream come true.
I struggled to believe that what I enjoy doing could be more than a hobby. When I renamed my shop Amana Design, it was a step of faith in trusting the Lord to guide my steps to turn this little shop into a business. Amana means faith in Hebrew which is my also my name. I wanted this to be a personal adventure of beauty and trust. It has been exactly that!
Thank you for making my dreams come true and supporting my small shop! I truly care about my customers and hope that your purchase brightens your day as much as your business brightens mine!
