This is a great pack that saves a lot of planning time. It comes with a PowerPoint that takes you through 4 lessons and matches with the activies provided to support learning and understanding. It is easy to adapt to the ability of children in the class as you can add information based on each lesson. There are plenty of opportunities for discussion either as a whole class or in smaller groups before completing the activities. An answer sheet is also included. The layout of this resource means it would also work well as cover work if the teacher was absent.

This is such a fantastic resource for teaching about urban habitats! It’s really engaging and easy to use, and my daughter genuinely enjoyed the activities rather than feeling like it was “school work.” I love how it encourages critical thinking—especially when looking at how human activity impacts wildlife and how we can help. The mix of activities (like designing a wildlife-friendly garden and thinking about where animals live) keeps it interesting and interactive. The included answer sheets are a huge help as well, making it easy to guide discussions and check understanding without any extra prep. Everything is clearly laid out and feels very thoughtfully put together. It’s been a great addition to our learning and sparked some really meaningful conversations about the environment. The colourful doodle style is really engaging without being overwhelming, and it actually makes planning feel enjoyable rather than a chore. I especially appreciate the “achievements and wins” and reflection sections—they’re such a lovely way to celebrate progress and stay motivated. It prints beautifully and is easy to reuse, which is a huge bonus. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating this resource. Highly recommend for any home educator looking for a practical and inspiring planner! I love it.
