What are PDF Patterns?
PDF patterns are digital files that can be printed at home or through a professional printing service. These files must be opened in Adobe Reader, a free software you can download here. https://get.adobe.com/reader/
Digital patterns offer convenience as they can be reprinted anytime for various sizes as needed.
Please note: No physical pattern will be shipped to you.
Where can I find the pattern download links?
After your payment is confirmed, Etsy sends an order confirmation email containing the download links.
• These links are accessible only on a computer or through a web browser on your phone or tablet.
• Etsy's mobile app does not support downloads.
You can also access your files from your Etsy account:
1. Log in to your Etsy account via a web browser.
2. Go to "You" > "Purchases" to view and download your patterns.
How do I download my pattern files?
1. Open the order confirmation email sent by Etsy.
2. Click the link sent to you, that will take you to the download, and save the files to your computer.
3. Alternatively, go to the "Purchases" section of your Etsy account to download files.
Important Notes:
• Ensure your email address is entered correctly when signing up.
• Check your SPAM or JUNK folder if you don't see the email.
If you experience issues, feel free to reach out via Etsy messages.
What do I receive when I order a PDF pattern?
Each PDF pattern includes:
• Construction instructions: Step-by-step guidance to assemble your garment.
• Printing instructions: Settings to use in your printer.
• Assembly instructions: How to cut and tape your printed tiles together.
• Pattern tiles: Pages to print, cut, and assemble into a full-sized pattern.
What page sizes are the patterns available in?
Patterns are available in the following formats:
• US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches / 215.9 x 279.4 mm)
• A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches / 210 x 297 mm)
• A0 (33.1 x 46.8 inches / 841 x 1189 mm)
• US Letter and A4 can be printed on standard home printers.
• A0 is a copy shop format and requires large-scale printing at a professional service.
How do I print my patterns correctly?
1. Save the PDF file to your computer instead of opening it in a browser.
2. Open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
3. Print a test square page first to verify size accuracy.
Print Settings:
• Set Custom Scale to 100% or choose Actual Size / No Scaling.
• Verify that the test square measures correctly on the printout.
If your measurements are off, double-check your printer settings and try again.
How do I know if my pattern has printed correctly?
Your pattern is printed correctly if the test square’s dimensions match the measurements provided. If the measurements are incorrect, adjust your printer settings and reprint.
Can I sell products made with Amelie Sewing Patterns?
Purchasing Amelie Sewing Patterns grants you the right to create garments for personal use or gifts.
• Commercial use is not allowed unless explicitly approved.

Can I Get a Refund for My Purchase?
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not permitted once the files have been send. This is because digital items cannot be "returned" in the way physical products can.
