I am not new to matcha and prepare it traditionally with a bamboo chasen and correct water temperature. This matcha does not froth or produce micro-crema when whisked and remains flat in texture. While suitable for lattes or iced drinks, it does not perform like a true ceremonial matcha. Clearer positioning would benefit informed consumers.

We are a boutique wellness company based in Vancouver, BC and run by a sister-brother duo. We specialize in pure matcha, adaptogen latte& smoothie blends and wellness teas.

Our small farm matcha is direct from Uji, Japan. Part of the reason we started Amoda was because we craved a traditional-tasting matcha that was free of any nasties and was not mass-produced. For us, that meant traveling to Uji, Japan, the birthplace of matcha, sourcing directly and getting to know our producer. We don't skimp when it comes to our matcha elixir blends either. They are rooted with the same premium matcha we sell pure.

All our ingredients are 100% organic and sourced from trusted suppliers. We manufacture all our products in Vancouver, Canada. All of our blends are free from fillers, flavours and sugar.
