I have always loved graphic design. I was introduced to the idea of Alphabet Letter photography by a friend and immediately set about photographing architecture and nature in the shapes of letters. I designed a print for a friend's wedding and the next thing I knew I had friends and friends of friends contacting me to design prints for them too.
I was selling photography in a gift shop locally and introduced the alphabet letter photos to the shop and they have been selling ever since. My customers love the opportunity to give a very unique gift to themselves or someone special. I now have my designs in a few other shops and I travel often to art shows to sell my designs. I am blessed that my family helps me tremendously when I travel to shows. Payment always comes in the form of a good steak when the show is over!
I photograph, design, print, frame and ship in house. I use other small businesses to get my supplies whenever possible. I put great pride and as my family would say "obsessive" thought into each piece I put together, so you know you are getting my very best!
I love the opportunity to meet my customers face to face and hear their stories, who the print is for and why. I've had women cry when they read some of the quotes and it reminds them of their mother who has passed away, or their daughter who is away at college or their favorite grandfather they spent a lot of time with. I also love when they email me after they have given their gift and they tell me the bride cried or it was the perfect gift for that person who has everything!
My business and my designs continue to grow and evolve. If there is an idea you have, but maybe think it is too far fetched contact me anyway. I have made many visions become reality. I have many satisfied customers and I am very thankful for them, as they allow me to do what I love right now in my life.
