Hello, and welcome to my shop!
As a five year old child I told my mom that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. In some form or another I've done that exact thing. A few years back, a good friend gave me a beautiful hand-bound sketchbook that I decided was too pretty to waste with my normal anything-goes sketchbook, so I made a plan. This notebook needed a theme and I needed to push myself. In this book I experimented drawing, in simple black lines, the environment and the objects around me. Because I used a sharpie pen the dots from the top drawing bled through to the second page, where I tested out connecting those dots in an abstract manner. I didn't know at the time, but this was just the beginning of my current drawing style.
I'm always trying to push myself with new projects and experiments. Recently, I've been waking up each weekday morning to draw a sketch and have a cup of tea. So far I've accumulated over 300 morning sketchings which I'm collaborating with a local letter press printer to produce cards and posters.
