My story is sewn with scars, strength, and grace:
My story is sewn with scars, strength, and grace.
I didn’t grow up with easy beginnings. My childhood was corrupted and marked by instability, foster homes, and learning far too early how to survive instead of how to dream. As a teenager, I became a mother before I fully became myself. Life handed me adversity in heavy doses—but it never took the thread off my spool.
I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember. Thread and fabric became my refuge—my way of creating beauty when life felt torn. Even when the world felt uncertain, stitching something useful, something lasting, gave me purpose.
Against the odds, I went back to high school and eventually completed my undergraduate studies. I then spent 30 years raising my family and working in areas that served some of our most vulnerable populations. Through all of this, I learned discipline, responsibility, and integrity the honorable way—by living it. Still, the call to create never left me. Things just got quiet and dark for a while.
Two years ago, everything changed. I heard the Gospel and found something deeper than survival—I found redemption.
Fourteen months ago, I chose sobriety and reclaimed my life with clear hands and a clear heart.
One week ago, I enrolled in an MBA program, proving that it’s never too late to build again!
Today, I’m sewing my way forward—literally and figuratively!!
This shop is more than handmade items. It’s a depiction of God as my Anchor, my life’s testimony, and hard work and dedication!
To embrace core foundational values: quality over convenience, patience over speed, and craftsmanship over shortcuts. Every piece is made with intention, prayerful care, and the belief that the home is built one stitch at a time.
My heart is to teach young girls and women the art of seamstress—to show them that with thread, needles, and perseverance, you can create household memories that last. Useful items. Honest work. Strong foundations.
Thank you for being here.
Every stitch tells a story—and this one is still being written.
