How it all began...
When just a young girl, Mom would take me along on her treasure hunts through musty and often smelly antique shops. Although not having much money, she was blessed with great taste and a knack for bargaining. Over time some of it rubbed off on me. It helped that I also studied Art and Art History for many years in college. Then, after having enough of the corporate world, I transitioned into buying and selling antiques and collectibles. From buying $1.00 cups and saucers one weekend to selling them for $3-5.00 the following week, I gradually honed my own bargaining skills and through lots of research, I fine-tuned my knowledge base and business skills. I took the leap in 1994 to become a full-time antique dealer and here I am, over 30 years later! I even had my own brick & mortar shop for many years and did over 26 shows/year throughout Florida. Now we are only online here where we maintain more than 300 items here and on another site over 1,000 items. You can message me for the other site.
