I opened my shop in early 2012, on the day after my birthday, at the encouragement of family and friends who suggested I explore an outlet for my work. I had always worried that mixing work with pleasure would end up diminishing the passion and excitement I have for photography until I came across Etsy. In my time here, I’ve been completely drawn into the community-like atmosphere, where I feel more like I’m sharing my best work with good friends than running a shop.

Photography is in my blood. I was recently asked how I first got interested in taking pictures, and I kept coming back to me as a little boy, sitting starry eyed on the floor while my grandfather shared stories of daring aerial photography missions during WWII and showed me beautiful pictures he took at Glacier and Denali National Parks. Ever since, I’ve wanted to travel the world and capture scenes that inspire excitement and curiosity in others, just like I felt growing up and continue to feel today.

My shop is a place where I combine my love for travel with my expression of the wonderment and magic those places instill in me. While there’s nothing more fun (and challenging) then looking for a unique angle of a famous landmark, often the most memorable aspects of my trips are the less trodden back road, the overgrown fence, or the simple beauty of a serene landscape. Through my work, I want you to feel like you’ve been to the same places I’ve been, and have shared in the secrets and beauty they hold. I hope you enjoy the journey.
