I like the multi-step process of screenprinting. I start with a basic sketch of how I'd like my print to turn out, then I decide which colours I'd like to use for the various elements in the print. For each different colour, I create a separate drawing on transparent paper. Once I have all the layers assembled, I transfer or "burn" them onto the screen. Then, one by one, ink is pushed through the screen onto every print. This process is repeated on top of each other until the print is complete.
