It began as a birthday party favor and the desire to share my creativity with people. It's the excitement of cutting into the soap after it has been sitting for 24 hours waiting to show off its beauty. Wow I did this by just mixing oils, butters and lye? Isn't lye a dangerous chemical? It can be but used properly lye has been used in the process of making soap from scratch and other products for centuries.

What makes this soap line so special? I kept one thing in mind, to establish a place that doesn't focus on just one thing such as naturally scented, unscented or scented soaps. It had to be for everyone. There had to be a better way than searching from one shop or site to another. Now you can stick to just one and shop to your delight.

Also I don't use any rendered animal fats for those who elect to not use animal products or who has sensitive skin that gets irritated from it.

How the line works:
THE NAKED BAR: Naked from fragrances or essentials oils that a person might have a sensitivity to. These bars contain only loving oils, infused oils, butters, teas, clays, plant based natural powders, and herbs. I wanted those sensitive individuals, like myself, to have the chance to be spoiled with my lovingly homemade natural products without the complication of having to choose a mild fragrance.

THE SCENTED BAR: This bar is scented not with just essential oils but also fragrances. I wanted the people who aren't sensitive to be able to enjoy the loving essentials oils and what they can do for your skin, body and mind. The colors that I add into these soaps are micas, pigments, oxides, clays, and all the powders that I use for The Naked and Nearly Naked line.

Also I do make salves, lip balms, lotion bars, and candles using similar ingredients as The Naked-n- Scented lines.
