Tacey Anderson grew up in the Jewelry business. Her parents had a shop in a house in Stamford CT which slowly took up every room in the house with 35 employees. When she was 13, they moved the shop to a commercial location in Stamford. Both her parents have passed away and the store was closed in 2010.

Tacey graduated from GIA as a gemologist in 1981 and spent 10 years as a store manager, then Island Manager, then Buyer in St Thomas, Virgin Islands. After a 18 month stop in Switzerland, she moved to Australia.

At that time, she was still working for a company in the Virgin Islands buying diamonds and gemstones and opened her own Diamond Import Business in Melbourne. But, the puzzle ring business which was the cornerstone of her parents business called her back.

She resumed making the puzzle rings in a small 15 foot shed in Warrandyte Australia, going to craft shows every weekend. The business built up and within a few years she was making them for 72 stores in Australia.

In 2007, her mother was diagnosed with Cancer and her late husband, Rob immediately put her on a plane back to CT to care for her. He joined her in 2008 and Arcanum Designs was born in the United States.

Since then Tacey bought a 150 year old farmhouse in middle Tennessee. She married Jeff in 2014 and built a new 24' x 60' workshop on the property where every piece of jewelry is designed and crafted.

The puzzle rings are still a huge part of the business but she also specialize in custom pieces. The business has grown and as a motorcycle enthusiast, Tacey works to produce quality custom work for over 50 motorcycle clubs across the United States.
