Crafting, Running, Rescuing
I work a regular full time job to pay my bills. I craft and stitch to keep my sanity and help rescue dogs.
I live in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains in northern Utah. I have two rescue dogs of my own, and I foster dogs in danger of euthanization at shelters through Rescue Rovers. We pull dogs from high-kill, overfull shelters and take them into our own homes until they can find loving forever homes. I almost always have at least one foster dog. The money made in this store is what I use to provide food, treats, toys, and blankets for my fosters, and pay for gas transporting them from death row to happily ever after.
One of my favorite things to do after a long day of work is to curl up on the sofa, surrounded by dogs, and stitch while we watch TV. It is our perfect evening. So the opportunity to do so and have all our hard work raise money to save more is so rewarding!
