Josh und Sarah Chadd sind das Ehepaar hinter Armored with Truth. Sie arbeiten zusammen, um gebrannte Lederwaren herzustellen, darunter Schlüsselanhänger, Armbänder, Ohrringe, Lesezeichen und mehr. Jedes Design wird von Hand gezeichnet und mit einer Lasergravur in das Leder eingebrannt, wodurch einzigartige handgefertigte Produkte entstehen. Ihre Mission ist es, Leder als Leinwand zu nutzen, um Gott zu verherrlichen und andere durch die Prüfungen des Lebens zu ermutigen.
Armoured with Truth entstand aus dem Wunsch heraus, eine physische Erinnerung an die Versprechen Gottes zu haben. Es ist so leicht, diese Versprechen zu vergessen und sich in einem Durcheinander von Lügen zu verstricken, die uns belasten. Um dem entgegenzuwirken, holte Sarah in echter DIY-Manier ihren Holzofen heraus und brannte die Wahrheit aus Gottes Wort in ein Stück Leder. Sie hat daraus ein Armband gemacht, damit sie die Erinnerung jeden Tag sehen kann.
Als sie ihren Shop eröffneten, erledigte Sarah den Großteil der Arbeit, vom Kreationsprozess bis zum Versand, während Josh ihnen bei der Geschäftsplanung und dem Brainstorming behilflich war. Sarah brannte jedes Design mit einem Holzbrenner von Hand in das Leder. Als die Zeit verging und Kinder ins Spiel kamen, mussten sich die Dinge weiterentwickeln. Sie stiegen auf einen Lasergravierer um und Josh übernahm eine größere Rolle, als Sarah ihren Traum verwirklichte, eine Vollzeitmutter mit zwei Söhnen zu sein.
Jetzt arbeiten sie als Team zusammen, um die einzigartigen handgefertigten Produkte zu schaffen, die Sie heute sehen. Sarah kümmert sich um das Design, das Fotografieren und die Kundenbetreuung, während Josh sich um die Gravur, Produktion und Shop-Verwaltung kümmert. Ihre Hoffnung ist es, die Herrlichkeit Gottes durch die Leinwand aus Leder zu zeigen.

Josh and Sarah Chadd are the husband-and-wife team behind Armored with Truth. They work together to create burned leather goods, including keychains, bracelets, earrings, bookmarks, and more. Each design is hand-drawn and burned into the leather using a laser engraver, resulting in unique handmade products. Their mission is to use leather as a canvas to glorify God and encourage others through the trials of life.
Armored with Truth was birthed out of a desire to have a physical reminder of the promises of God. It is so easy to forget those promises and find ourselves entangled in a mess of lies that weigh us down. So to combat this, in true DIY fashion, Sarah got out her wood burner and burned into a piece of leather the truth from God's Word. She created it into a bracelet so she could see the reminder everyday.
When they first started their shop, Sarah did most of the work, from the creation process to the shipping, with Josh helping out along the way with business planning and brainstorming. Sarah would hand-burn each design into the leather using a wood burner. As time went on, and kids came into the picture, things had to evolve. They upgraded to a laser engraver and Josh took on a bigger role as Sarah lived out her dream of being a full-time mom with two sons.
Now, they work together as a team to create the unique handmade products you see today. Sarah handles the designing, photographing, and customer relations, while Josh handles the engraving, production, and shop management. Their hope is to show the glory of God through the canvas of leather.
