Hi, my name is Dana Huban. Painting has been with me for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Ukraine, surrounded by wide skies, fields and the subtle moods of nature — all of this still lives in my work today as soft horizons, textures and flowing layers of color.

I studied fine arts for eight years in Uzhhorod and Kyiv, at both art college and university. Over time, my style has become a gentle conversation between abstraction and reality: textured backgrounds, atmospheric color fields and detailed, hand-painted portraits.

I especially love painting portraits of animals and people — catching a glance, a small gesture, a quiet emotion. For me, it’s not just about likeness, but about the feeling that lives behind the eyes. Alongside my studio work, I also teach painting masterclasses, sharing my experience and helping others to express themselves through color and canvas.
