They encourage closeness and play together, thanks to which they also have therapeutic functions, sensory stimulation and provide a sense of security. WHO ARE WE?

❤ We are a family studio established out of passion to create and live close to nature. Our studio is located in a small town near Toruń among meadows and forests, from where I constantly draw inspiration.

❤ Our dolls are inspired by the philosophy and school of Waldorf dolls that were toys made of natural materials, safe for children. Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and teacher, who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries contributed creation of the doll. He promoted simple and natural toys that had a positive influence on a child’s imagination and senses. According to his philosophy, a doll is the most important toy a child will get.

❤ The Art and Doll is a hand-sewn organic cotton rag doll for girls and boys, which was created in order to break stereotypes regarding both gender, age, skin colour and fitness level. Each of our dolls resembles a child and, thus, it becomes a role model for a small user.

❤ Art and Doll rag toys are hand-sewn from ecological fabric, produced exclusively for the Art and Doll brand. Our tricot for sewing dolls is distinguished by its exceptional softness, resistance to dirt and pilling. And most importantly, it is GOTS certified, which means that its production is environmentally friendly.

❤ All Art and Doll toys are created by my hands and designed with the future owner in mind, which is why my best emotions flow in them. Every step of making an Art and Doll. The most pleasant is the moment of packing, when I know that my doll will soon go to its future owner.
