5 out of 5 starsRachel is such an amazing artist that I've long drooled over her work. I'm thrilled, thrilled, thrilled, to have a piece to call my own. This was very well packed and carefully, but speedily shipped across the pond. I'm delighted.

5 out of 5 starsLove the quality. I gave some to my Clan Members at our gathering. Foxglove is how we (18th century) identified that we were in same Clan during battle. Fast delivery and good price!

Shipping
The UK where I'm based is currently in lock down. Dispatch of orders will be carried out once the lock down has been lifted. I apologise for the delay, but for your safety and mine I will not be posting out any orders until then. I also want to refrain from putting any additional pressure and risk on the postal and delivery service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I am still accepting orders with this understanding. Portraits can take anywhere from 1 - 6 weeks and will be drawn during the lock down period and dispatched upon its lift.
Custom items (including Pet portraits)
Time Frame
There are a Limited number of spaces remaining for 2019.
It is important to book your portrait a couple of months ahead of when you require it. Once your drawing has begun, small drawings can take 5 - 14 days, medium drawings take 2 - 4 weeks and large drawings can take 4 - 6 weeks to complete. On top of drawing time please consider postal delays. If you are located in the UK I send art works via Next Working Day; if you are located outside of the UK drawings can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. For further information and to make sure I can get your drawing completed in time please email me directly with the size and date you require the final art work:
artistrachelcard [!at] gmail.com
Christmas is an extremely busy time of year for me and last minute slots rarely become available. For UK arrival by Christmas please book before October/ at the latest September for small to mediums sizes (larger sizes by September).
International orders for Christmas delivery must book by the end of September so that your drawing can be produced and posted in time for Christmas.
Local Collection Service
I now offer a collection service. I am currently based in Plymouth Devon, where I work from home. If you would like to collect your drawing in person as you live locally please notify me prior to your order and I will remove any postal charges. Once the drawing is complete we can discuss your availability to collect the drawing.
International Postage:
Orders outside the UK are accepted, but please note I send both prints and original art works via International tracked and signed as it is the safest method of shipping, meaning any items that become lost can easily be found and insured. I know postage can seem somewhat overwhelming, but it is also expensive. I remove the material costs in order to keep the international postage as reasonable as I can. I take great pride in my work and also in my customer service and only want your order to reach you safely and in one piece. I hope you can understand.
Processing and Print turn around:
Please note all prints are printed by order and the ink requires at least 24 hours to settle and dry, before it can be packaged and dispatched. Any items ordered on a Friday will not be processed and/or printed until the following Monday. Any original drawings purchased on a Friday will be packaged over the weekend and dispatched early the following week.
All items are usually dispatched within 1-3 working days (subject to item). Please check item information regarding dispatch. Items which require additional handmade or drawn additions will take between 5-7 days to dispatch. Any longer and you will be notified immediately.
Postage of Prints and Art work larger than A4:
Please note prints larger than A4 and original art works are posted within large diameter postal tubes. If you do not wish your item to packaged in this method and would prefer your item delivered flat please contact me either before your purchase or immediately after so that I can arrange an alternative method of packaging for you. I post with postal tubes as it is the safest method of transport for large and original works - items are less likely to become bent or creased.
Delivery estimates:
UK: 1-7 working days (Subject to item)
International: 5-14 working days. (Subject to item)
International Orders:
International orders can take anywhere from 5-14 days from date of dispatch, however please be aware that it can take longer. Items can be held up at Customs for days and weeks. I, the seller, am not responsible for the duration the item is held at customs nor am I responsible for any potential Custom charges that may occur. Custom charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Any item returned to me due to an incorrect, outdated, or insufficient address at fault of my own and not the customer, will not incur new shipping charges. However if customer fails to supply correct shipping address the customer will have to pay any additional shipping charges for that purchase, including re-shipping.
If the customer fails to collect their item and that item is returned, the customer agrees to pay additional shipping charges and the redelivery of that item.
If such case the customer supplies incorrect shipping address or fails to collect their order and the order is returned but decides they no longer want the item, the customer will only be refunded the item cost, not the delivery costs.
If you require an item urgently, please do not hesitate to contact me in advance so I can arrange a faster delivery alternative. Please note, that delivery costs will increase if courier needed or an alternative form of packaging is required.

Items that arrive damaged in the post will receive a full refund. A replacement will be sent if possible. Original drawings and commissions can not be replaced, if damaged the customer will receive a full refund for these items.

Custom order cancelled but did not receive full deposit back?
Once you have placed an order you have agreed to the terms and agreements. Please read these before placing an order.
If initial sketches are carried out but you decided you no longer wish to go ahead with the commission, you have already agreed to pay the artist for their time and materials up to the date of cancellation. This is because I have already put my time and energy into producing initial ideas and sketches for you and covers the cost of my time and any materials used.
Why is postage so expensive?
Prints sent within the UK are sent first class. Original drawings on the other hand I send via the safest and securest method of delivery possible: Special Guaranteed Next day delivery.
All orders outside the UK, will be sent via International signed and tracked, or the safest possible postage available for that country. This makes it much easier to locate if the parcel happens to go missing.
I aim to supply the best possible product and service possible and this sadly does not come without it's costs. I make no profit at all on postage and in order to keep the postage costs low I tend to knock off the majority of packaging material costs.
I aim to be honest with my customers in regards to costs.
