Waldorf Doll making has become my passion.
I'm Rachel and I live in Tennessee with my husband and our five children. I am a homeschooling mom who loves creating one of a kind, natural playthings.

I have been sewing and crafting my entire life. My Grandmother took me onto her lap and taught me to embroider and sew when I was just six years old! I was homeschooled by my parents and taught that my creativity was only limited by my imagination! My mother always included me in all of her crafting adventures! We sewed, painted, stitched, stuffed, molded, cut, pasted and embellished our way through my entire childhood. Meanwhile my Dad, a carpenter with a shop full of woodworking tools, taught me to love working with wood!
I got started designing and making Waldorf inspired dolls and natural toys once I had my own children because I didn't like the alternative of filling their lives with disposable plastic junk! I love the creativity that children display when playing with open ended natural toys. Their imaginations come alive when they have one of my toys in their hands.
I believe that a doll is one of the most important toys a child can have. And a Waldorf doll that is handmade with all natural materials comes alive in ways that a hard molded plastic doll never could in the hands of a child. What will it be today? They are lovies when a child wants to cuddle, playmates and sharers of great adventures, confidants for all of their important secrets, puppets acting out their stories, and props in all of their games.
