A green peasant blouse was custom made for us..it was very well made. The fabric and color is great! Our daughter loves it..She wears it tucked into pants or skirts. We might need a lilac blouse made soon!

Hi! My name is Lise Simard the person behind Atelier LS.

Atelier LS is were I unleash my creativity, were I can connect with people who share my passion for fashion and costumes, basically it's my sanctuary. It took a while to get here but now there's no going back. So join me in this journey!

My Background

I started sewing when I was a teenager. There really wasn't much technique involved in what I was doing at the time. I loved clothes and always wanted something new but I couldn't afford buying new clothes. So I started modifying clothing that I had or that were handed down to me and also, from the thrift shop.

I am a Fashion Design graduate from LaSalle College in Montreal. I gained experience as a freelance costumer and working for fabric and fashion retailers. Several of those years were spent working in the costume and merchandising departments at Cirque du Soleil's head office in Montreal.
