The adventure began almost 15 years ago.
After a long period of unemployment following the 2002 crisis.
I decided to spend my days making small wooden objects for fun.
Given the enthusiasm for blogs, I decided to make it my business.
The art of thread and spinning wheel making began much later around 2015.
This orientation became natural as I met and received customer requests, to the point that some time later it surpassed all my other orientations.
Today, my activity is dedicated solely to this field and today Atelier Rodier has a worldwide reputation.
Today, the success is such that you will have to wait 6 weeks to get a spinning wheel.
And I owe all of this in large part to you and your unwavering support.

L’aventure a commencé il y a près de 15 ans.
Après une longue période de chômage suite à la crise de 2002, j’ai décidé d’occuper mes journées en fabriquant de petits objets en bois, simplement pour le plaisir.
L’enthousiasme rencontré sur les blogs de l’époque m’a encouragé à en faire mon activité.
L’art du fil et la fabrication de rouets sont arrivés plus tard, autour de 2015.
Cette orientation s’est imposée naturellement, au fil des rencontres et des demandes de clients. Peu à peu, ce domaine a pris le dessus sur toutes mes autres créations, jusqu’à devenir le cœur de mon métier.
Aujourd’hui, mon activité est entièrement consacrée au filage, et Atelier Rodier bénéficie d’une belle reconnaissance à l’international.
Le succès est tel qu’il faut désormais compter environ 6 semaines pour la fabrication d’un rouet.
Et tout cela, je le dois en grande partie à vous, à votre confiance et à votre soutien constant.
