Curiosity is something that makes me tick
As far as I remember myself i was creating things, even from those days when I can't remember my self (my mom told me), I was creating new things, drawings without any knowledge how to... and if I didn't create, I used to take everything apart, just to see what is inside. Which of course, sadly enough, got me left without toys, but with wisdom instead.
This curiosity doesn't come purely from my self, while my father is a self tought street artist, drawing portraits on Germany tourist atracted streets, and my great-grandfather Matas Mencinskas (1896 –1942) at the time was successful artist, sculptor living and learning in Spain, Madrid, later in Argentina, Buenos Aires, Nationa de Bellas Artes. Participated in exhibition's won some awards and came back to motherland Lithuania to share his gathered knowledge with pupils in his arts classes.
So here is "me", more inspired than ever I decided to be an artist. Not much to decide here, while I felt born with artistic way of thinking, trying out design studies, crafts and works, closely related to arts I ended up on the same track as my great-grandfather, I finished sculpture studies and enjoyed every minute spent surounded by like-minded people doing some creative stuff and learning new skills.
That's it, no more doubts about where my heart is. I'm putting my hands in to use. From bigger objects to small, fine detail objects, I love them all.
