MY BLOG
Discover everything you need to know about selling online and driving more traffic to your shop on my blog, Attention-Getting, that I launched in 2012. Since then, my advice has been featured in the New York Times, Success Magazine, Shopify Blog, Medium and SheKnows. My blog was named one of the “Top 10 Small Business Blogs to Follow in 2014″ by American Express Open Forum. This is NOT the same old tips you can get anywhere else. I give out of the box, innovative advice backed up by the latest market trends.
HOW IT STARTED
I first got involved in e-commerce in 2002. Etsy didn’t even exist yet. I had written a marketing book and wanted to sell it on Amazon, as well as on my website, which was extremely complicated back then. After years of selling on Amazon, I decided to take the experience I had in e-commerce, merge it with my professional marketing background and start a blog with marketing advice for small businesses selling online. I now consult for sellers on Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, as well as for other small business professionals.
SUCCESS STORIES
I have advised some of the top sellers on Etsy, some who have seen their traffic and sales grow by anywhere from 100 to 500% after implementing my advice. My customers have also used my publicity service to get featured in publications such as Real Simple, Apartment Therapy, House Beautiful, Vanity Fair, Houzz, Glamour, LONNY, DesignMilk, Emmaline Bride, Martha Stewart – just to name a few.
ABOUT ME
I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Marketing and spent over 20 years in executive marketing positions for a few large companies. From advertising and promotions to market research and product development, I have done it all!
MY CUSTOMER SERVICE
I aim to provide the best possible customer service. Long after the sale I still email my customers tips, free PR opportunities and product ideas as they arise.
