HOW I MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO CONTACT YOU REGARDING ORDERS: If I have questions about an order and am unable to reach you via Etsy conversation, I may attempt to contact you via social media, email, phone, etc. to clarify your order details. This is to avoid having to cancel an order due to missing or questionable details.

WHAT INFORMATION I COLLECT AND WHY:
- Personal information such as name, email, postal address, and payment information must be provided to fulfill your order.
- Additional information varies for personalized orders, but may include items such as: names of family members for wedding invitations; addresses for RSVP envelopes; wedding day details such as venue names, wedding times; etc. This information is to allow me to create your wedding invitation.
WHO I SHARE INFORMATION WITH:
- Social Media, Marketing, and eCommerce: I may share images of my work including personalized items such as wedding invitations on social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, etc.) or for marketing purposes within listings on various eCommerce sites (e.g. Etsy, Amazon, Square). I do my best to avoid sharing personal information, but that is not always possible: e.g. date of wedding, partner(s), family names, etc. **If you find your information used for marketing and would like it removed, contact me for prompt removal.**
- Etsy: I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Service providers and third parties: I engage certain trusted third parties (e.g. shipping companies, shipping vendors, partnered printers) to perform functions and provide services to my shop. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
- Business transfers: If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
- Compliance with laws: I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: respond to legal process or government requests; enforce my agreements, terms and policies; prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
HOW I MAY USE YOUR INFORMATION: I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including: as needed to provide my products and services (e.g. your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support); when you provide your affirmative consent by signing up for my mailing list (you may opt out at any time); if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or in connection with a legal claim (e.g. retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law); as needed or necessary for the purpose of providing and improving my services.
HOW LONG I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION: I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for up to 8 years.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF THE EU: I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Dropbox is Privacy Shield certified.
YOUR RIGHTS: If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
- Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
- Change, restrict, delete: You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (e.g. where I am required to store data for legal or tax reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request. Be aware if you request deletion of your information and for any reason need a reprint, a full new order will be required for repeated work to be completed.
- Object: You can object to my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
