When Life Falls to Pieces Make a Quilt
I got my first sewing machine when I was 10. My mom let me loose with a bunch of scraps. My friend, Jennifer and I thought it was great fun. Once I got a couple of those scraps together, I'd say, "Step on it sister." Jennifer would run the pedal and I'd feed the fabric through. We never created anything great. But a love of scrappy and improvisational piecing was born.
Over time my skills improved thanks to a patient mother, knowledgeable ladies at my guild, and the internet. Now it's my turn to share this love of quilting with others. Enjoy my patterns. Find tutorials on my website. Sign up for my Scrappy Bits and Tips for coupons, freebies and more. Or take a class. However you choose to learn I hope you will find my resources informative and helpful.
