4 out of 5 starsleather is very soft, but it stretched a lot. luckily my dog doesn't pull on the leash, but I think it would be easy for a strong dog to stretch the collar so much they could get out of it.

Embossing
Embossing is the process of hot lettering and designs applying deep into the leather surface with the press. Embossed leather usually retains the original color of the surface, though the raised design can create subtle shading differences
Engraving
Engraving is the process of lettering and designs applying into the leather surface with a laser machine. The laser beam heats the leather surface, burning out and vaporizing the outer layer of leather. For engraved leather, the design appears darker than the surrounding area due to shadows and the color change caused by the process.
