Vivo en los Estados Unidos, pero soy originario de Japón. Al crecer, siempre admiré lo hermosos que eran los papeles decorativos japoneses. En 2016, mi abuela me regaló su gran colección de papeles japoneses de Chiyogami y Washi que coleccionó durante los años 70, 80 y 90 en Japón. Pronto me obsesionó la belleza de los papeles y comencé a hacer joyas con ellos, junto con nuevas adiciones a mi colección. También me encanta el papel Lokta de Nepal, los papeles jaspeados del Reino Unido, Brasil, Italia e India.
I live in the U.S. but am originally from Japan. Growing up I always admired how beautiful decorative Japanese papers were. In 2016 my grandmother gave me her large collection of Japanese Chiyogami and Washi papers that she collected during the 70's, 80's and 90's in Japan. Soon I was obsessed by the beauty of the papers and started making jewelry with them, along with new additions to my collection. I also love Lokta paper from Nepal, Marbled papers from UK, Brazil, Italy and India.
